First Snowfall Brings Round Of Snow Alert Tickets

Sioux Falls Police said officers wrote an average amount of snow-related tickets after Friday’s snow storm. Public Information Officer Sam Clemens said 1,323 tickets were issued to drivers after the city declared a snow alert. If ticketed cars have not been moved, crews will begin towing in the next few days. Clemens said more tickets are usually written during the season’s first snow alert. LHS Student Charged With Making Bomb Threat

A Lincoln High School student has been charged with making a fake bomb threat. Sioux Falls Police said a 16-year-old student wrote a message on a bathroom mirror. After it was found on Friday, school officials used surveillance footage to identify the student. Police: Man Shot At Least Two Vehicles Before Pursuit

A shooting suspect led police in a pursuit after shooting at least two cars on Saturday. At about 4:30 a.m. Saturday, a man found a bullet hole on his vehicle when he got to work and called police.
